GOOD!!!... engine sweapping shops in northern cali
ive got my 98 ek hatch now and i just got done odering my B18c-r and was wondering if anyone could give me some good shops that know how to do it. it would help of you would post their web sites but phone numbers are still ok. also if youve gotten swaps done from any of those shops could you post the good and bads
Read up and do it on your own, save yourself a bundle, not to mention, you'll know a lot more about your car, and you can buy yourself a nice set of tools, shouldn't take more than 2 or 3 days if you spend enough time reading before hand and the swap is pretty complete. Good luck.
There's a guy in SJ that I bought a set of axles off of that do swaps. He has a shop behind his house and seems pretty legit. He is also a member here on h-t but I forgot his sn. Anyway his shop is called Hybrid Automotive, and his name is Jeff Sloan.

just go ahead and give it a try yourself. I watched my friends do them before and then did my first one in my car in like 8 hours with a friend and then when we pulled that one, we did a running to running swap in 4.5 hours. it is really simple.
