Accord clutch dynamic?

Default Accord clutch dynamic?

The clutch on my '00 Accord recently gained a TON of travel after hitting 6k rpm's, and my mechanic said that it's normal because the clutch will adapt to the driving conditions. Is there anyway to change this back?

does it always have long travel throughout all RPMS now?

Yes, it is like the clutch has a whole new catch point... if thats a good term for it.

have a honda technician adjust the clutch travel for you, unless you know how to do it yourself. if its not adjustable, then i have no clue
