i hear that these are not compatible with ek's cuz they hit the hood... true/not true?

 

This is true. I haven't done too much research on this due to the fact that I simply dont have the suspension to use it. After some searching I have found this out: To be able to successfully use it in a 96-00 Civic you would need to cut part of the skeleton of the hood out where the top of the black box will go with a dremel or similar tool.
