Default fuel gauge???

Was wondering if there are aftermarket gauges that can tell if your low on gas...i have a 97cbr900rr and it has no indicator or gauge that tells me if im low on gas. so the other nite i was cruising and then the engine stops...i pull to the side and a bunch of cagers start laughin outta der window....scarred for life now....so i restarted but could only restart with the choke on so i rode da bike 5 blocks with my choke on...nd den i remembered the reserve...hahaha...but anyways...i'd hate to have another occurance like dat..so does n e one know or have any techniques for telling if your almost empty.

see waz uz gotz to doz is getz dem cager boyz to tagz on some of dat der side of da head wit a crow bar nd den u be ohkay.

On a real note, just flip it to reserve when the bike starts sputtering under accelaration. Then just get gas at the nearest gas station.

Not worth it. You get used to not having a fuel gauge after awhile. But if it really bugs you, just buy a new bike.
