Default wet spot in passenger floor

Does anyone have a wet spot around their passenger side floor? I seem to be having some coolant leak and it is seeping through my car and soaking up in my carpet. Can anyone tell me where the leak might be coming from? Im scared taht it might be leaking from the block. P.S. its not the radiator cus i changed it just recently

Thanks

if you have coolant leaking on the inside of the passenger compartment you probably have a leaking heater core.......they are a real pain in the *** to replace also.

first check that the hoses connecting through the firewall are connected and sealing properly. if they are then the core is leaking which sucks big time......

Have you been using the A/C? if so it might be the condensation (sp?)

Yes the Ac wire that leads out of the car might just slip into the car. Just pull out the carpet and reconnect it.

Find out if it is coolant or water. Coolant = leaking heater core. Water = plugged or disconnected evaporator drain hose. Pray for water

Im sorry, i didn't clearify it, i meant coolant as in radiator fluid. I tried to soak it up with a towel, and it was green.

If you can stand the winter cold, eliminate the use of the heater core by just joint the input hose (to the heater core) and the return hose (from the heater core) together-leaking problem is solved. Both hoses are accessible from the engine bay. I'm hoping not to get any negative comment for my suggestion.
