if you are doing a port & polish, you have more than just that that needs to be changed, new valves, pistons etc etc i wouldnt install that head until you get some more knowledge about it...

and a vtec engine is a f22b1, b2's are the Non vtec models...

replace the cams with more aggressive cams because ur not gonna see much gains with just a P&P. cams will really show u the potential of a P&P.

who would be the best doing for the cams. and as for doing the other stuff, i dont have the funds to do the pistons and the valves. believe me i was looking at a set of titanium springs and a set of valves to go with it. to finish the top half. all that would be left is the cams and cam gear but that would be an easy install vs. the springs and valves. unfortunately, i have a wife and two kids and this is just a side hobby. i did do my research but doesnt always work out.

crower doesnt have for the f22 unless its a regrind. i dont like those too much. so gasket set right, should i do the water pump and the timing belt. the timing belt was changed at 95k and its 135k now.

it seems a little early with the tbelt and pump, but hey since everythings off, if its not a hassle for you you can wait. if your not to of amiliar with it then you should do it now and have a fresh count.

and does skunk have on for the f22? if not regrinds might be ur best bet...

you should check the for sale forum above, i think someone was selling some internals for a decent price the other time i checked...
