Default FYI: Champion plugs and B18c engines (GSR)

NEVER EVER EVER install champion plugs in a B18C engine.

I pulled the one on the right from my engine today. I guess the previous owner didnt bother with the NGKs. Note how much longer the champion plug is?

I checked and that is the recommended champion plug for that car.

I dont know wtf they were smoking. NGK lists 2 plugs for b18 engines, 1 for VTEC 1 for non VTEC. Champion only lists one.

Not sure if its related, but allmost all of my ground electrodes were bent...I'm hoping it was not due to contact with the pistion.

There's an exeption to every rule. I don't know how many Hondas have have come through the shop running like crap because they had bosch plugs in them. Same with champion, autolite and ac. NGK and ND are the way to go IMO.
