Questions about what bike i should get, ive ridden dirtbikes for a while now.
Okay.....Im 18 and have been riding dirtbikes for a while, and have been into sport bikes for a while now, i was wondering what a good bike would be for me to start out on. (not brand or make) like enginesize and ****. I am just south of 6 feet, and about 180 lbs. Thanx alot.
a 600cc would be fine to learn on. you already know how to ride a bike with an engine, so 600 is good way to start riding on the street.
i'd still reccomend taking the MSF course though. and to take it easy when first learning how to ride. even if you have a lot of power in a 600, you dont need to use it. hell, i've been riding for over a year and my 600 still has too much power for me to handle just now
Riding dirt bikes is a good start because you have some throttle control and balance but riding on each is very different. The best thing that will probably help you is knowing that if you start sliding to stay on the throttle.
