Anyone have Alpine SEC-150r ALARM? IF SO READ HERE!
hm well i got my alarm..my brother tried installing it but he can't finish it cause he dont know how...well we can't find the dome survellience to hook up to? i have a 1995 integra ls...trunk pin..ignition kill...we dont know where to hook up the relay that has 3 red wires coming out of it..n.o - n.c. and to key..what does this mean? if anyone can help thanks..siren sounds so low eh? when arm/disarm
reading the manual will help a ton.
The 3 red wires IIRC work for the starter kill, but exactly how to hook it up you'll have to check in the manual.
As for the dome light supervision, I wouldn't even bother. I never hook it up.

a. the dome light circuit hook up to door trigger wire...it will turn on dome
light when you disarm alarm...must use a relay.
b. trunk pin can be found in drivers kick or at rear light ( i cant think of
color at this moment ( will research it for you)
c. ignition wire is in the main harness running to ign switch ( if you test the
wire..it will give voltage on start and run ) This wire is very important
d. the immobilizer circuit (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT) is the relay
with the wires coming out...this is the difference between a security system
or a noise maker. N/O means even if the system is removed the immobilizer
will still function. N/C means if the alarm loses power immobilizer circuit
is inoperative. The main diff is N/C will never leave out stranded if the
system fails N/O is for highest level of security.
e. the alpine siren is a 'soft chirp' type...6 db soft on arm disarm..
full blast upon triggering.
Hope this answers all of your questions...good luck on the install
Remember the alarm is only as good as the install.
