4G auto tranny quest..

i have a problem with my auto tranny... when i put it in d4 it doesnt move untill the rpm is at 3000... then it moves a lil.. have any one else encounter this type of problem?? any advice is appreciated.. thanks

Mine was slipping, ( I guess you can call that slipping) so i had it rebuilt.

The car doesn't move or the shifter won't move?

you have a turbo automatic? if it doesn't move till 3k that is ok i guess. the factory stall is about 2500-3000 rpm (hydro lock-up). unless it's different than it used to shift.

well.. its the auto tranny.. when i put it to d4 it doesnt move at all.. when i put to one.. it does the same... only thing it does is when i put it 2 and it moves then it shifts when when i put to d3 or d4.. but i cant get the 1st gear to lock anymore.. anyone had any problems with that b4??
