Default 88-91 CRX's need help...

I have a 91 CRX Si and the front end is fuked up from the doors and up... My buddy located a CRX at a junk yard and is in pretty good condiction, not sure how much they want for it tho... My question is if the front bumper's the same or not??? My front bumper is too fuked up and i cant make out how it should look like, so would u please tell me if it's the same or not???

Another question is, i like the factory fog lights (i hope that one my buddy found has one) can i buy the factory foglights anymore??? If so, is there a place that i can get them cheap??? Thanx

just a question.....why do you have the 4g maxima collecting dust? those VQ engines are nice as crap. if you got the 5 speed, it should be as fast stock as your b18c5 5g civic was! people pull off 14.3's with just i/e/ecu in those man....check out http://www.maxima.org sorry...but my bro is a maxima fanatic

First of all, my mom needs to drive the car also, so we settled for a auto ... I installed a Stillen Intake on it back in 97 and that was it, nothing else done to it... The ride is smooth and the motor is far one of the best reliable motor... "Best V6 engine in the world" a few years straight already... Y is it collecting dust??? Because it was in a huge front-end impact due to my dumbass sister who cant drive for ****!!! It was repaired by a cheap *** insurance company and not everything is working properly in the thing right now and the batt. is dead at the moment, going out to get a new one later on tonight... I agree it's a nice car, but i wont bother with it anymore since it's not a 5speed and my mom needs to drive it on her off day...

So i guess nobody knows if body parts are interchangable huh??? Can someone in the Chicago area help me locate a junk yard with 90-91 CRX parts??? I dont want to go thru the trouble of buying the wrong parts so i kno for sure they would all fit right... I would need both door's, both fender's, hood and front bumper... Thanx anyways...

The body parts are interchangeable, though there are slight differences?

The corner lenses are slightly different on the 88-89 than the ones on the 90-91(I think)
The front turn signals on the bumper are different also, slightly smaller on the 88-89 than the 90-91's.
I think everything else is similiar, so I know it fits, I(for the time being) have an 89 front bumper on my 91.

I am unsure about the doors, I know that the 88's did not have door mounted seat belts, and therefore the doors are made differently( I am unsure of wether the 89's had door mounted seatbelts)

At the very least, you can get the front clip off of an 88-89 model, you may have to buy the doors off of a later model.

the 88 is the only 2nd gen w/out door mounted belts. in order to use the corner lights off of an 88-89 CRX, you need the fenders, too. that's the only difference in mounting. i don't like the 88-89 front bumper: smaller directionals, and no cool fake air ducts, but it will fit..

88-89 is different then 90-91. The fenders, corner lights and bumper is different.
