Default Anyone use Non-OEM gasket sets during your rebuild?

I'm finishing an NA build on an H22A1 and I can get "Ishino" or "Stone" gaskets much cheaper than Honda OEM gaskets even at wholesale. I've done some research on Ishino and they are based in Japan and I know they make some gaskets for Honda (which are sold as Honda OEM). So I'm sure quality should be very good at least with them. Can't find any info on "Stone" though. What are your experiences with using non-OEM gaskets sets when rebuilding an engine?

I have twice used a felpro headgasket durring my B18B rebuild. Originally wanted to use commetic, but half way through the install I realized they had sent me a B18C1 and it didn't fit.

Autozone sold a felpro, so I used it.

Didn't blow, affordable price, looks like good construction, so I decided to use it again.

i use honda gaskets just cause i work in a honda dealership but after seeing the difference between OEM and aftermarket, i would strongly suggest spending the little extra and get the quality that honda puts out.

Any more input? I'm not reffering to just a headgasket, more importantly to the complete cylinder head gasket sets and the complete engine block gasket sets. -Mike95lude

Ishino/Stone is the same thing...
I picked up one of these kits, and i know that the headgasket is oem, but the valveguides are cheap/crappy. I'm just gonna go with better valveguides which isnt a big deal. As for any of the other seals and gaskets, I can't say.

I'm in the same boat as well. Going to replace all the gaskets for head and bottom end while the engine's out. On the search to find where an oil leak is coming from. Think my rear main seal is shot. I'm leaning towards OEM only for the fact I haven't heard reviews of anything else. Anybody with some experience with any other gasket kits?
