...I was thinking of putting a neon kit on my bike...

Does anyone know of where to get a decent kit for motorcycles? My bike is black, I was thinking of something subtle, like a dark blue or purple.

Any info or websites you can provide will be helpful, Thanks.

 

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that this is for show purposes only and will probably be powered by an external power source?

The reason why I'm asking is that, well with both my lights turned on with the motor at idle, the battery still drains. We have tiny batteries and I would definitely look into what is required to power such lightings before I put them on.

Try a simple search on http://www.google.com. That might lead you in the proper direction.

 

If you could get the power supply issues worked out, I don't think it would be such a bad thing. If anything it will make people notice you more at night and from the side, not such a bad thing.

 

there are small lights available out there that dont affect ur power to much.. just like len said.. do a search, im sure u can find something.. a friend of mine has this small one by his engine somewhere that just flashes randomly.. its ok. i wouldnt get one.. but to each his own.

 

you could get those neons that go on your wheel that spin with the wheel

 

I used to have three friends with neons on their bikes... either blue or purple. They rode with them at night for visibility. Cops would pull them over, they would explain, & the cops would let them go.
