Default For those who run street tires at the track, psi?

When I goto the track, I usually run street tires because I would like to know my real world/street driven times. I run anywhere from 18 psi to 25 psi depending on track conditions, temp, etc. Plus I hate swapping tires and stuff at the track. I did pick up a set of drag radials, just waiting for a deal on some 15's to throw them on.

So what do you guys run as far as tire/psi combo?

Also, anyone from the Michigan area going to Milan next weekend for Imports vs. Domestics? If so, see ya there.(Hopefully in the CRX)

What kind of times and pressure are people running with Kumho Ecsta's 195/50/15?

I know they are not the best tires in the world but I managed to pull 2.1 60' with these tires at about 26psi. Just wnated to know what others ran with them

if there bfg drag radial , we tested many pressures and found 12psi bas best, rwd best 1.3 60ft /fwd best 1.7 60ft .

now remember drag radials work better with less tread, the bfs was ran bald and gripped much better this way.was able to hold many 10 second passes.

I made my virgin run on friday, ran 22 psi on 215/45/17. I was just listening to my friend, but was very unsure if this was anywhere good for a tire that big.

Specially since he runs mustangs with 15's and monster slicks.
