jump at 60mph?

jump at 60mph?

my dad knows this guy who has an s2k. they went for a drive and my dad says theres this "jump" at 60mph. could it just be the vtec?

thats as specific as i can get. he said "we were entering a highway and as soon as he hit 60, the car felt like it went into performance mode."

does the vtec coincidentally come in at 60?

most likely your dad's friend went into V-tec when entering the highway, so that "jump" was just V-tec kicking in

VTEC in third is just above 60 in the 03 and before. A little lower in the 04.

yes it was, im loving the s2k which i bought last year, you can really feel the pull when it hits vtec

ya, 60 is shift time in a 03-... maybe he meant at 6000 rpm?
