Default tuning a 50.

Anyone got any ideas on what I could do to give my 50cc two-stroke a little more power?

I have heard that a higher top speed is only a different washer away, or something. I know there is a 70cc stroker kit for my Zuma but that sounds a little extreme. Or does it...hmmm....

Good big or go home hehe. Best bang for your buck on a lil 2 stroke motor is a big bore. Not sure how much they are for the zuma though. Regardless of what you do its probably gonna be a waste of money so itd probably be like a lil project. Id go for the big bore.

It's not a waste of money if I have a scooter that will do 65mph.

My friedn was just talking about this. He has a metropolatin and it tops out at 40. So he can only drive on non main roads due to speed of traffic.

The only way to get to 100cc is to bore AND stroke. I think. I've never seen any stroker kits available for your model. And even if there is, you don't want to pay for it. A big bore 70cc kit sounds like it'd do what you want. Or-

Nitrous?

Scooters dont really have any sprockets to change. Unfortunately.

65 Ross?.. look at my speedo

Last week on the dyno my bike made 7.2 whp on a 49cc engine. And I was happy about that result. (the next one made 130 )

I think you can do 12's with a bike that WAS originally a 50. It'd be tough to do it with stock displacement though. The black bike in the pic above is several times larger than 50cc, and I'll be happy if it does 14's in the quarter. I'm not holding my breath tho. Do you guys think they will let me run it at the drag strip? I may take it up there next week if they let me run it.

The black ones the nitrous oxide. The reason for the blue one is because I don't feel like installing a fuel pump, and my black box does not allow ignition retard.

Mos, could you tell us a little about your bike? Looks like a Honda Elite or something from here...How is it even close to running 14's? I understand you have a bottle, but what kind of top speed does it have?

I've posted about it in another thread. It's a Yamaha 175. For all I know it does 25's- I've never run it. Its probably a pig compared with your zuma. I'll post results if I ever get to run it.

I think a 70cc kit would be great for your bike. This guy may have something for you:
