1. you have to make the convert the type s one to the base, then change the head unit.

you can buy an aftermarket face plate for the typeS. if you want white with black interior go to canada and you can buy one there.

you dont have to make anything, if you go to any retail store, im pretty sure they have the kits in stock for install try bestbuy or any similar store. lots of cars do this. if youre gonna put the head unit in yourself, frys electronic usually has them. probably 15-20 dollars im guessin.
