Got my first bike !!!
I got a brand new 2004 Kawasaki ZX6R three days ago, this is my first bike and I've been riding alot to learn everything, I purchased a jacket and a helmet and I'm going to take the MSF at the end of the month.
So far I love the bike, the seating position hurts after about half an hour but I guess I'll get used to it..
I changes the front blinkers and took the rear fender off, I got a fender elminator on the way and tags should be here next week also.
Already got 332 miles on her.
Here it is, I'll post better pics tomorrow.

That's an awesome bike. There's nothing wrong with having a sports bike as your first bike.
As long as you're responsible. It's all about responsibility, maturity, and respect. Must I preach that all the time? hehe
Unfortunately, the Kawi was my third choice. 600RR, GSXR600, then ZX6R.
Ride safe and have fun.

Parkin inside is the only way to really prevent theft...the only problem is if your house burns down your screwed unless you save the bike, cause i don't pay for comprehensive (covers theft and fire)
I'm inlove with the bike.
I park it in the living room. I could live it in the back porch but there is all that florida moisture and stuff.
I'm really taking it easy on the bike and trying to learn everything really well.. The bike says not to take it over 4k rpms for the first 600 miles so thats what i've been doing for the most part.
I respect the bike's power and dont plan to open it up for awhile...
....Well time to ride to the beach !!!!

Thats a good idea, to brake it in easy while your just learning, cause that way you get used to it, wait till you rev that thing to redline through first, second and third for the first time, your gonna ****, you'll never wanna get off it.
