AEM Cam Gears stripping - need info

Hi, and off the bat two things:
1) I'm not here to listen to how much AEM gears suck.
2) And I did search.
I am going in for a tune soon. I check the allen bolts everytime I drive because they're pretty round due to past adjustments. Now I want to replace them.
Anyone know where I can find these?
Anyone know the dimmensions?
If I contact AEM they're probably charge me for the same ones that will strip later. - Rather take a chance on another set.
Excuse the pic (notice the allen bolts)

Thanks

I'm sure you could replace them with any number of fasteners from any number of hardware stores in your area. I highly suggest getting star-head or hex-head bolts of the same thread pitch and pattern if you're in the habit of constantly adjusting them.
i tihnk the strip so easily because the gear itself is made out of aluminum. if you put steel ones in and overtighten then you will strip the threads in the gear. torque them at what they say in the manual (i think 12ft/lbs but that was for a different cam gear and even then i might be remembering wrong)

But if anyone has dimensions, that will help me a lot.
Honestly don't know how to begin looking.
It might be so bad I might have to heat a wrench to the bolt to take it off. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I have a great place near my house called "King Bolt" I take them a bolt and say "I need one of these" they disappear for a sec, and come back with the same bolt... Maybe there is a bolt company near your place?

seems like they are nice people huh...
you should have asked them the dimension at least while you talked to them....you would have answered you question...
