I just received my package of Spoon bars from Florida (eehh...isnt there anthrax??? there )
All of the bars were fine:front and rear-tie bar

BUT

the Front Strut bar i know ( from pictures i've seen ) should be bent!

Question is.. i havent open the package but the bar looks uneven???
Yes, i know you should have bents to it can fit inside the engine bay...
but one end of the bar is more narrow than the other end???

Is it suppose to look like this or did they **** up my bar from shipping & handling??

It wasn't bent I believe i shipped it to you (if it came from Orlando,FL), just as it came into me. If it is bent or you think it's bent then give us a call, but you shouldn't have a problem with it.

 

yes, its bent! I've bought it from titianmotorsports, from the groupbuy!

I mean all the bars are fine EXCEPT the front strut bar!!

I havent open it yet, (well the box yes, but the package no! ) and its not perfectly align! the symmetry/angle is off from left to right!!!!

So im callin to give a call first thing in the a.m. 11/5/01
Oh and i know you guys still owe me a shift **** also!

We get there at 12 am Eastern time. Your shift **** will be coming in with a shipment this week or next. We sent you what came in rather than make you wait 2 more weeks for your strut bar. If you can take a picture of it with a digit cam or something and point out the problem and email it to wes@titanmotorsports.com that would be greatly appriciated. We'll take care of you.

 

I installed mine over ther weekend - the front bar does not have an even bend or curve to it. The driver's side has a more abrupt bend closer to the mounting point...

Spoon f & r bars =

Just installed mine yesterday...big difference

 

Just talked to Bottle from titanmotorsports about my Spoon bar? Thought it was a manf. defect but it wasnt! I put the bar on it was fine. I guess Spoon made the bar unevenly and had the "fitment" to be corrected! Didnt know that, thought the bar had to be symmetrical. It fitted my GSR good! All in All thus i am satisfied w/ my product and from titanmotorsports.com!!! Thanks Bottle

so, you guys are able to tell a diff between the spoon front bar and the stock itr bar?? i had a spoon rear upper at the gap and was unable to tell much of a diff, maybe it's just me. bottom line, do you think the spoon front upper bar is worth buying??
