<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by B18Tahtaras &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">intake is larger. </TD></TR></TABLE>

That may be true for automotive engines, I dont
know the answer, but I do know that on small gas
engines that the exaust valve is lager.

When you take them off you will know which is which.

The intake to exhaust valve ratio is right around 3:2 on most engines give or take...

while reading this post I found my self picking my nose and thinking about those lil Wooden dowels when you were a kid with the shapes, lol They will only fit in the right holes... lol Same in this circumstance. Not to bash or flame or anything bro, but use your head, they will only fit one way.

you bought new valves but you might want to lap the valves so that they seat on the valve seat well. You get the lapping compound and a small valve plunger. Put the lapping compound on the part of the valve where the valve seats, put the valve back into the head, turn cylinder head over, combustion chambers facing up, put plunger onto bottom of valve, lift up valve and smash back down, then turn several times, lift up and smash again, turn several times, repeat repeat repeat until lapping compound is gone and then do for all valves. Then you be ready for propper installation.
