Default Why won't my CD player work?

My friend and I installed a amp and sub in my car a while back, and I just removed them yesterday, and now my CD player won't work? I have a 96' integra ls with the stock CD/cassette deck, and it just says "code". I also just put in a new battery, I can't remember if it quit after the sterio or the battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have to have my music.

It probably has an anti-theft code which is required when it is disconnected from power. The code may be in the owner's manual, otherwise you will have to have a dealership get it working again. You can also try searching the internet for the universal codes that the dealerships use.

its asking you for the antitheft code since you disconnected it from its power source...

I do systems all day long on stock head units.. It's possible when using a line-level converter....
