Default Built H22 ECU Questions.

I have a built Jun head on my lude. Port and polished, milled, jun cam shafts, retainers, valve springs, skunk2 cam gears and a VAFC. This is all in the process of a 2-3 week long build. Ive been reading alot about ecu's and have read that the p72 would be the best choice due to the IAB's and the fact that there is tons of programs and chips out for it. Would this be a wise decision? or should i stick with a p13 ? If i ever decide to go hondata with the p13 i believe there are no programs available or so ive read on the essential links.

Thanks for any and all help/advice.

yes the p72 is a good choice, I am building a very heavily modified NA setup and I am planning on running a p72 hondata you can use all your options, or a p30 will give you everything besides IAB control, but it has the knock sensor and all that good stuff, oh yea you can get the p13 hondata which is fully programmable so you dont have to worry about those chipping programs that dont even work all that well anyway

yeah buddy if you change your ecu your ATTS system won't work anymore...just 50-60 pounds of dead weight

And a built head is not a built h22a...

and your ecu is a p5p not a p13

p72 will not help you, nor will the chips.

just tune the v-afc

there are a few p13 maps/roms out there I have a few, spoon, mugen, stock maps. These combinations are up to you and I don't think anyone can say anything bad about any one unless they have test each setup and I doubt that. So the best way to put it is what option are there. p28civic dohc vtec(running a p13map) , p13usdm hondata piggy, p13hodata full ecu, p72gsr w/hondata piggy. These are probably your best choices. Good to have knock sensor, iab. good to get rid of egr, eld.
