Default 4th gen seats

I don't know if i read it, but I'm under the impression that Recaro designed the 4th gen seats. Is this true and if so, is there any more info about this subject. (Do they design all of honda's sports cars' seats?)

Another thing I have been seeing lately is companies like Recaro actually putting their name on seats in recent cars like Subarus and Mitsubishis. How does everyone feel about that?

I am about 99% sure that it is true that they did design the seats. I don't know where you would find more info though. Yes they do put there names on seats like in the STi and the EVO but they don't have to on everything. If they are just contracted to design the seats they prolly wouldn't. But with some cars it's a feature that they have brand name seats.

4th gen seats felt GREEEEAAAAT, so I wouldn't doubt that they were designed by Recaro.

Man, I wish Recaro would make some kind of cover or something for the seats. But yeah, they do feel damn good. Even when compared to aftermarket seats.

If you are talking about the 4th gen's then you could always recover them with factory covers. I found mine brand new on ebay for 85!!! I then covered them using the pliars shaped tool that was specially designed for the metal clips that hold the covers on. The look GREAT, and no one who has ever been in my car could tell that I did so. It ws real easy, and will turn out nice with some time. Good luck

you were damn lucky to find them in the first place let alone for $85. i've been trying to find leather for a while, but most people want an arm and a leg. i'm sure if i could find just the covers it would be cheaper, but that's prolly not gonna happen...

I also have a prelude S, so that means cloth seats, and in my case I got the blue ones that came with my car. Good luck, and keep searching man

I sold a pair of black front leathers for $150 not too long ago. It seemed like no one here wanted them.
