Default How long should I leave aircraft paint striper on aluminum rims?

Hey guys, I just bought Aircraft paint striper so I can remove the paint off my rims.

I'm just wondering how long should I leave the paint striper on the rims for? Reason I'm asking is because at NAPA the guy told me not to use this on aluminum rims and said it will damage the rim

thank

read directions or leave it until you see the paint buble/peel/lift...

well i never used "Aircraft paint striper" but some other brand name stuff from walmart and i let it sit for about 15-20mins as it says on the can. also it really depends on the paint it self. The clear coat came off just about as fast as you can put the remover on but the paint itself took about 10mins. Dunno about the stuff yor using but the stuff i used you can basicly let the stuff dry and it would do any damage to the alm, just makes it harder to get off.
