Default Air Intake

Hi everyone, ive just got an Integra type r, first mod on the list is a cold air intake system. Performance is the main idea but ive got some neighbours i need to annoy so it also has to be very loud, any suggestions as to what one to get?
Thanks

If you want the NASCAR loud sound get the AEM or J's. I had the AEM, and got quickly annoyed with the sound, plus the crappy throttle response so switched to the Comptech icebox. If you really want the best overall intake on the market, the Mugen is considered the best all around and for power gains, but is roughly 3 times the price of others.

The stock intake is already a "Cold Air" type intake.

Ok, then let me refer you to what Bbasso posted, and a full search.

I'm almost positive this is tongue in cheek but if noise is all you want then you could just remove the top of your stock airbox, but it won't be "that" loud. A cheap crappy fartcan will be loads more annoying.

Look here for more info:

Welcome and best of luck.

what about just a Spoon drop-in???
i don't know....i still like the idea of keeping the stock box with an after market filter.

well, unless u have the spring bling cash for the muuuugen box.

Oh yeah...i forgot u just want the noise....then just get one of those taiwanese short arm with a fat cone!

yes Aem is pretty loud, it whistles too ... THe best intake, posted several hundred times, is the mugen intake... a bit on the pricey side but worth every cent imo
