Ttranny does not pick up 1st when I put it in 2nd, just takes right off. Any ideas?

 

I don't quite understand the question, but it sounds like it's OK. Automatic transmission?? When you put the selector lever in 2nd, it'll start in 2nd, even from a complete stop. It's supposed to work like that.
