b20 is either the CR-v motor, or the really old crappy prelude motors. i think what you want is a h22a motor. That's the prelude motor that everyone uses for swaps. is it possible? yes and no. The swap is A LOT harder then b-series swaps. YOu have to buy totally new motor mounts(500$), you have to cut off old mounts * depending on what mounts you buy*, you have to cut holes for shift cables leading to the shifter, you have to remove old shifter asselmbly and drill/bolt the new shifter asselmbly down, you SHOULD buy new springs to accomedate wieght of prelude motor(although there is a arguement over wiether or not the added weight really cause crazy understeer), you need axles from a b-series or you can buy 400$ custom axles made for this swap, also you should get a new radiator becuase the stock civic one is too small. As of right now i cant think of anything else.. but seriously, this isnt an easy swap. I'd stick with b-series unless you know how to cut/drill and work on metal. I have a friend with a h22 in there, and man is it powerful! if you can do it, DO IT! if you dont know what the hell your doing, i'd stay away from it.

Hey nice one for the info it's very helpfull, I've just got a quote on a jap spec h22b with 41,000 up on it. a six month guarantee for £475 + shipping. He says this outputs around 200bhp as it is the jap spec, would you think this is a good deal and is the bhp really 200??

Anyone else find it funny that he's wanting to do a motor swap, but has NO CLUE what he's talking about?

Pipe dreams I tell ya, pipe dreams.
