I was coming from Manhattan on the Brooklyn Bridge and slowed down to get online to exit and then BAM! I was struck by mr. Taxi driver.

My neck is a bit soar and my two freinds are also a bit stiff, other wise were are fine but my car... well I'll let the pics do the talking.

That sucks, Rob. Glad everyone is okay, and the car doesn't look too bad.

 

damn that really sucks man. At least no one was hurt. Did the impact damage or bend the rear quarterpanels at all? if not then it shouldn't be too much to get fixed.

 

Damn dood....thats flat out sucks. I suppose it coulda been worse though, glad that you and your friends are Ok .

 

ouch! pay like what 10 dollar toll now, and get in accident

 

I guess it could have been much worse, but for a caR that has survived NYC for 3.5 years with no more then a door ding this just sucks!

that looks like it will buff right out

no rear frame damage i can see.

the rear quarters look fine too.

get a replacement bumper, exhaust system, and that metal sheet in the rear

im surprised that driver didnt try to speed off somewhere

I do know a good body/paint guy up near me though.

Collect all your reports and make sure the Police report says how Mr. Taxi Jughead was at fault and hit you.

I'm always amazed how people can hit yellow cars and claim afterwards that they didn't see anything

[In a stern fatherly monotone] Just make sure that's all clearly on the Police report.

Ahh the stories I could tell. Remind me to tell the one about when the guy ran the redlight and broadsided my wife's car. He claimed that he wasn't looking at the road but, at the fishermen on the lake. We actually got that quoted in the Police report by the Trooper. And just FYI, Police reports Can be changed after they are written the first time. You can ask me about that one privately though.

That's good to hear. It's kind of hard not to be at fault when you rear-end someone

Funny you say that, I have been saving up for the BCIII

But what sucks is I just spent so much time and money on the exhaust already... and its probably wiped out

yes.. come to the dark(and deaf) side..

sorry to hear about this though.. glad you're ok and that the car wasn't hurt too badly.. now i get why you always carry your camera..
