ITRs have 11.5mm lift, skunk2 stage 2s have 12.1 mm lift. You're going to have coil bind/valve float and destroy your motor(if you use ITR outers and inners).
But if you use portflow inners or some equivalent, you'll be safe.

ITRs have 11.5mm lift, skunk2 stage 2s have 12.1 mm lift. You're going to have coil bind/valve float and destroy your motor(if you use ITR outers and inners).
But if you use portflow inners or some equivalent, you'll be safe.
YES. ITR retainers CAN rev safely to 9500. Some people think aftermarket retainers are stronger and help you rev higher. What they do is lighten the valvetrain to give you a few HUNDRED more rpms to rev. And they also can take the higher temperatures much butter, but just revving high isn't going to produce the temperatures that you would need for aftermarket retainers. Titanium retainers are not recommended for daily driver. Titanium is a softer alloy, and you're going to be having to check them at about 15k miles.
