Best Turbo H22 Intake Manifold

Wow, and three people have voted for it......not very comforting for the person looking for advice
GE, STR, etc are all pretty much the same design: huge plenum, short runners. Go with whichever of those you can get for cheapest.
Also, if possible, do a dyno run before and after without changing anything other than the manifold, I have yet to see really convincing results that validate buying a $400+ dollar intake manifold.......and while you're at it, DEFINATELY get a Hondata intake manifold gasket.......

I benchflowed my extrude honed manifold. They all flow in the 310's cfm, the weakest being the cylinder 1 at 314 cfms. The stock type r manifold flows in the 250s. The venom, str and golden eagle are all parallel surface manifolds which leads to turbulence, check out JUN's manifolds, they're all non parallel plenums, meaning circular cross section. Besides, the stock manifold would keep stock idle and reliability. unless you're looking for some bling bling.
my friend was running one made by Tempest... they didn't have the Vemon or STR on hand when his car came in so they made one for his car. Didn't look bad, and he was putting down 380 at the wheels with about 18 psi without "the welds on the intake manifold blowing apart"
kinda funny how the STR has less votes than the GE IM and they are basicly the same damn manifold.
Ive been working on a IM design for months now and since its going to be for NA the process of the damn thing is giving me an almost permanent head ache... Turbo IM's are REALLY simple and straight forward, hence the STR and GE IM's...
I like the JG (not JG Edelbrock) IM because it uses the factory tuned runners that have been ported to high hell and a custom plenum which is built based on your aplication (Turbo/NA/Displacement/etc, etc).

Yep, same thing with the venom manifold.....they're all same design, that's why I said go with whatever is cheapest.....
What I wish is that someone would make an H22 manifold similar to the Magnus one for the 4g63's......THAT would be badass....

Actually, Venom redesigned their plenums getting away from the boxy square style... Their new plenums are similar to the JG plenum, a more tubular plenum body with a flat plenum floor/runner entry.
check out this...

hytech exhaust makes these for honda's, you can have one done custom for the H22 if you like...i think custom runs near $1600...
search for hytech exhaust on the net you'll find it.
beautiful huh??
