Default ACCOR EURO SPEC

HI I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAD GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF THE HONDA ACCORD EURO SPEC. IS THE ENGINE A H22 OR NOT, I KNOW IT PUTS OUT ABOUT 215 HORSE POWER. I WAS WONDERING IF IT IS A STRAIGHT DROP IN FOR MY 97 HONDA ACCORD. IF IT IS A H22 I KNOW WHAT I WIL HAVE TO DO BUT DOES ANYONE HAVE A EURO SPEC ACCORD MOTOR AND DO THEY KNOW IF IT IS GOOD OR NOT? ANY INPUT WOULD BE GOOD INPUT. THANKS

The Euro spec accord has the f20b1. The Type R accord has the h22a. And to answer your other question it would not be a "STRAIGHT DROP" into your 97 becuase it is a series swap. I would not recommend the f20b. You could spend as much if not less and buy an h22. Be careful because some versions of the h22 only have 160 hp at the crank.

A 160 HP version of the H22A????Did this version come with super low compression pistons or something??I never heard of this version and i am sure it doesnt exist.Might have it confused with the H23A.
