Let the Fun Begin.... Goodies Arrive.
The last of the parts that I have been waiting arrived today. I'm looking forward to getting these installed next week and tuned very shortly after that...

why is a toda (or any other aftermarket timing belt) timing belt better than OEM?
why is a toda (or any other aftermarket timing belt) timing belt better than OEM?
is it needed because of the extra revs available due to the valvetrain upgrade?

Lumpy cams put more stress on the belt, that's why Toda makes one and recommends it when using their cams, especially when using Spec B or C cams.

All of the TODA stuff is going to be installed at Japanese Specialist in Round Rock. The VAFC install and tuning will be done at Carboy in Houston.

Unfortunately I do not have a dyno of my car in its current state and likely will not have one before these parts are installed - I have simply not had the time or energy to get in and get it done. Best I can do is a before tuning and after tuning...

lumpy cams have no effect on the cam gears, so i don't see why that would make any difference.
the only variable for the timing belt is how fast it is moving (assuming proper tension), hence why i asked about the increased revs.
<---still not convinced.
