Well, my check engine light was on, so I checked it with a paperclip jump and got a 12 (EGR). Took it to the garage, mechanic said its not throwing any codes... told me removing the intake manifold to get to the egr ports is a 4 hour job, i said "see ya later!"..

Then I went and got some sea foam, and ran that through the vaccuum, put some in the oil, and some in the gas, seems to be running better so far, the real test will be tomorrow morning, when I start her up, nice and cold.

So whats the deal with the CEL?

 

what gen car you have?? for 5th gens it is NOT a 4hr job, more of a 1hr job if you wanna get everything all blinging again.

 

its a 6th gen (99).. 99 is a 6th gen, right?
