About a month and a half ago I had an accident where my driver's light was broken and the hood push in and up (the frame was not bent though). However the car drove fine afterwards. The radiator was not crack or leaking and there was no problems with the compressor.

Once I finally took it to get the body repairs done (about a month after the accident) the car hesitated a bit before starting, granted I kept very little gas in the car during this month since I was not driving it around until the body work was done. When it was time to get the car from the body shop it would not start.

The horn works, there is juice in the battery, and I am only able to shift gear into neutral by unlocking the shift lock. All the belts are attached from what I can see.


What might be the problem be here?

 

ok u got to be more specific. does ur car crank or not at all.
so from what i read its automatic right?
if yes u can't shift from P to D without turning on the car and pressing the brakes.
asnwer the first question and i will help u a little more.
