i received an email from guyuenvy@hotmail.com with an attachment which looks to contain a virus. (guyuenvy is Dennis Lui's HT sn.) i don't know if someone else used his name to make him look bad, or if it's malicious intent on his part over an arguement which we had years ago.

the argument was that after he sold me parts with a minor glitch in the transaction, he vouched for Micah Johnson (stonecoldpimp / dj-loud), who ripped me for $550 for a b18c block and crank. then, he denied having endorsed dj-cloud as a seller.

i just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else, and to give the heads-up.

someone else uses other people emaill address' to send spam and alot of emails that have attachments that probably contain a virus. i have noticed before that some spam emails come from people's email accounts that i recognize from the partstrader.com

I think I understand now. He's been getting emails that has attachments, and those attachments have viruses in them. The emails that he has been receiving were mainly Spam. Furthermore, some of those emails have addresses that he recognizes.
This is my interpretation of what hes trying to say.
I've got those emails too but they look like "failed sent notifications" but they go to my junk email so I delete them anyways.

i wish that i could find out if he sent them, or at least from which IP addy they were sent to see if somone else is jacking IDs to send these.

of course, he could have sent it from another IP addy to make it look as though someone framed him.

i just don't want to open it to try to find out.

 

so then just erase. why make a big deal over it.

omg you really think that he would purposly send you a virus he probably got a virus that sends it to everyone in his email list...its not like this never happened it the world before...
