Default type r pistons?

is it safe to put civic type r pistons into an ls/vtec swap and be running compression at 12.7:1? or would i be better off just getting the p30 or pr3 pistons?

i wont not run ctr pistons with pump gas unless they are going in a b16
you would be much better off with some pr3 or p30 pistons
