Default shift linkage slightly bent?

Hey guys I was just wondering is the shift linkage supposed to be slightly bent. If your sitting in teh car and its hooked up, mine is slightly bent to the right, both of the bars. Let me know if this is correct, thanks.

Default Re: shift linkage slightly bent? (LostAndFound)

The linkage is bent slightly. However, I don't think it should be to the point that the shifter is angled towards the driver. I have a TWM shifter that has multiple bends in it to do that on purpose. There are other shifters that do the same also.

I'd maybe crawl under the car and check to see if you can visually tell if it is bent anywhere that it attaches to either the shifter, the body, or the transmission.
