Default quick rear lower tie bar question:

i have a neuspeed rear lower tie bar to put on my gsr, and i was just wondering if i need longer bolts than the stock bolts to connect it to the LCA. its a 95 GSR.

in short...you shouldn't. I think some of those bars require longer bolts, and some don't.

If it did need 'em, it probably would've came with them.

you should'nt need longer bolts, at least that was the case with my rear lower tie bar. i reused the stock bolts. But like he said above some may require longer bolts. HTH.

It depends on the endlinks, as far as the nuespeed bar I dont know it it uses them. The skunk2 requires the longer bolts.

Did you buy it new? If its new and it didnt come with any you shouldnt need any.

But just look at the endlinks and see how muuch it is going to add in lenght for the bolt to travel. My endlinks were a box shape with a hole and it added like 1 1/2" so I had to get a Longer Bolt from Ace hardware.

i bought it used from a honda-tech kid. i'll just try to bolt it up and see if it works.
