Well, I bought a standard OEM Exedy on ebay from Clutch City, and they rocked...good price, prompt shipping, good communitcation, and their product was flawless...so if they have a more advanced clutch for sale, I suggest you try them.

there is no such thing as an EBAY CLUTCH. ebay doesnt manufacture nor sell clutches. you can just as easily buy a crappy or high quality clutch anywhere on the internet. you should concentrate on more on the manufacturer, and less on where it is being sold.

w3rd, not a good idea to take shortcuts or go the cheap way
when the clutch is involved, it's too labor extensive

He asked for a reputable seller...Ebay has some...some of us tried to help him out. No one said "EBAY Brand Clutches: Stick to the Last" or whatever their imaginary tagline would be.

how did you make sure that you would not be ripped off when you went outside of Ebay to buy it from them? They could have just kept your money and acted like nothing happen, couldnt they? Im asking because I am thinking about just buying this item from a seller on Ebay but not through Ebay, just through him and me. How could I make it safe for me to insure I will get the product and he wont rip me off?

Do yourself a favor and get a clutch from a reputable company. Don't go cheap.. especially for something as important as a component of your transmission.
Well, i ended up getting an Exedy full face "race" disc from Clutch City. It'll be here on Wednesday according to UPS manifest. So, when i get it, i'll post up some pics.
came with the alignment tool, clutch disc, throw out bearing and the pressure plate.
you can re-use the ones you took off if you use loc-tite, or if it is your thing, you can buy new ones

Is it the regular Exedy Race clutch?? I just bought one. I got mine for $234 shipped to me.
Can't wait to install it with my Fidanza 8lb flywheel.
