HM, thats a hard question. I think itll be worth it because it carries a warrenty on it, but thats about it. If you had the b18c and you had 12 grand you couldnt get 275 out of 12 grand. But then again, its an already built motor, thats no fun. Its up to you, but yes in actuality it is worth it, especially with a 1 year warrenty.

Way to pricey 230 whp can be had for 6000-8000

275 is probably the potential of that motor.

The ad and specs are misleading. There are other parts that you need to get to complete the setup. Manifold, header, fuel system, engine management.. and more.

How did it make 275hp. stock intake manifold? Individual Throttle bodies?
Crate motors don't work for many of us. we need custom designed engines to fit our needs.
and 12G is alot of money. we just completed a race motor for a customer who plans on competing in the street All motor class and price range was $8000 for head and block. and Im sure with better parts than this 12G motor.

and considering that place doesnt give any detailed info, that seems like a loser deal.

it can all come down to who ported the head and what header. 230+whp aint easy folks

275hp with only one cam, imagine what it would do if they used two of them.

Just a minor spelling error (one would hope) but non the less this seems like a very fishy deal to me.

275hp...pump gas b series. Wow. I had no clue you could make that kind of power on 91 octane with a bseries. all motor.

The one he gave us to look at was a 1 year warrenty or 15,000 miles.

that just goes to show how stupid they are

what if a i put a supercharger on it, and beat teh hell out of it

did 3rd gear to 5th gear top speed pulls multiple times on the freeway

after 15 or however many minutes eventually the pistons start to melt or valves with start to melt

its a race motor, and i cant believe any reasonable company would put a warranty on something. it doesnt even say what it does or doestn cover. could just cover mfg defects.

I have a 234whp B20vtec for sale... Cheaper then that for sale... low miles, brand new, went to dyno and track and now it's just sitting in a street car that doesn't get driven..

i really doubt that warranty deal. they'll give you the run around and all that warranty BS.

YOu think they'll cover the warranty when I put it in a Pro-AM car that we take to the limits.

the 275 hp rating is bhp..not whp. and the warranty is the real deal. shorblock configuration...no warranty. if you buy the longblock...you get the warranty.
