Default Rubber Covers for Springs

So I went to the shop I got my Neuspeed Sport springs installed. They were making some noise in the front, so the tech suggested buying some rubber covers or inserts for the springs to prevent the noise.

I have no idea what these are called or where I can buy them. Basically it should help the noise go away when the springs are compressed

Any ideas?

Bump stops? Or covers? People just use power steering covers for covering the actual shock.

strut boots are tied on the end of the strut/shocks to prevent dirt and grime from going into the strut/shocks themselves.

oops. sorry. i know what youre referring to now. there's a paper cover that wraps around the first 3-4 coils that prevent the springs from squeeking.

You can get those from the dealer or go to radio shack and get these plastic coils to wrap around the springs. they both work just as fine.

Cool.

Are they paper, plastic or rubber?

How much do they go for at the dealer?

If I got them at Radio Shack, what do I get?
