Wow!!! I gotta send you guys a linky!! This new Mazda motor is already proving itself over in the Midget/Kit car world.

Circle Performance got 315 HP with 14.5:1 compression and carbs.

I'm watching this motor very close.. I would love to build a 1875lbs Miata and race in the A/M class. I ran mid 11s on a Drag Radial at 2500lbs with 320rwhp Turbo.
The other good thing is that this motor is used in both the Ford and Mazda platforms similar to my BP engine which is used in the Miata and Escort GT. This will help reduce the cost of the engine a great deal.

Well, we haven't spent alot of time on it, but here are some pretty current pics of it. It will not be the purple people eater for long. We are still playing around with a few ideas on the motor, so I know the Mazda I4 (duratec) is capable of what we want it to do. We will show more photos once this thing is more complete.

HEy, no swaet Tom. Also, to remind you, I still have the Arias measuring tool in my posession. Hahaha
We met with Mazda today and they are very excited to get this car completed. Once we get some more tubes laid, wI will post some pics. Thanks for the support guys.
