Are the JDM headlights for 5th gens one piece or two? the ones on ebay that are "JDM style" are 1 piece but ive heard that theyre actually two. so which is it?

I've seen the real JDM black housing headlights in both 1 piece and 2 piece.
Here are the one pieces:

Here are the two pieces:

All the replicas I've seen on Ebay are two piece. The "JDM style" one pieces you see on Ebay are not JDM replicas but projector style aftermarket headlights.

I don't have any personal experience with the one piece headlights but just from a logical standpoint, I would think that it would be a bitch to change the corner bulbs since you can't remove the corners separately. With the two piece headlights, you can unscrew the corner lights to replace the bulbs.

make sense. i like the look of the 1 piece a bit more but i could see it being a pain to change the corner bulbs. ive never had a corner bulb go out though. never even had any bulb go out in my accord and its a 96.
9/10 those headlights have shitty light output, and many times dont have adjustable aiming of the beam......the ONLY headlights that are worth it are made by stanley, the people who make the real deal....in other words, dont get non OEM

the ones in the first pic dont bolt up unless u cut the bumper and fender they are for j-spec 6th gen. second pic (2 piece) are for the 5th gen and yes lighting sucks unless u have hids...
and there are clear jdm headlights as well as corners..

there are websights that sell LEGIT OEM HONDA 5th gen JDM lights.....not worth it IMO...its just a clear corner and blacked out houseing....which u can do for $25....the reall deal from Stanley (OEM manufacturer) cost around $500
yea, i've been looking to get some new headlights to, but i find it hard to find any legit JDM's for a decent price, i think i saw them on modacar.com for $630, which is a rediculous price if you ask me. Maybe i'll hold off a bit till i get some more $$ and do the mods i want first, i.e. H22 swap :D
JDM CD headlights were never one piece. the blinker attatches to the headlight itself to simulate a one piece look but in actuality are two separate pieces. The main difference is the black housing, which was found on the Accord SIR, and the chrome housing found on all non SIR cd's. The one pieces that were shown above were from the accord torneo... a vehicle that the US never saw. They will NOT fit. Anyone stating that they do is just trying to make some $$$ off you. Make sure that if you come accross some "black housing" headlights, check and make sure that it says "STANLEY" and does NOT have "DOT" on the outer corner of the headlight. There is no Department of Transportation in Japan. Only the US has stupid ish like that. People have been taking apart US Spec cd headlights and painting them flat black and selling them off as being legit. The only way to find out whether it's real or not is to follow these instructions. Any black housings that say plug n play are fake. JDM headlights use an H4 bulb. Keep that in mind too or you'll get jacked by the seller.
Any more questions n this, feel free to pm me.
peace.

If you like the one piece look then buy them i bought some on ebay wich any dumb*ss should know 175.00 is not going to buy a real set of jdm lights but anyway mine get complements all the time but its a pain to get them to adjust for night driving you have to basically bend the upper support not enough to tell but its still sucks and forget changing a corner bulb without pulling it all apart just like you put them in like bumper cover and all it sux..but they do sometimes look kool like i said i love mine and i dont expect to blow many corner lights.also if someone has these type of headlights take this advice if you do blow a bulb while its apart to change it change the other one at the same time.just some words of wisdom...

Take some english class first.
those one piece will not fit 6th gen or 5th gen usdm accord without modding the hood, fender and bumper. SunnyStyling in elmonte bondo'ed a set of one piece lamp on a 5th gen, it looks really good but that's only if you have a grand or so to spend

I think you're confusing the black housing JDM replics with the "JDM style" one piece projector lights you see on Ebay. All the replicas of the real JDM headlights that I've seen on Ebay are two piece. The only one piece ones are the "JDM style" black projectors.

most all of jdm style accords have a two piece headlight set-up. because the one peice ones require cutting( but not much,i think they are really made for the newer accords.)
