Rear hatch wont unlatch. Any idea if their is any way to release the hatch to get access to the latch mechanism?

The only way I can think of is try to remove the hatch interior cover to access the latch mechanism. There is a Tech. Service Bullitin regarding a problem with locking and unlocking the hatch. You have to replace the rod retainer clips with improved ones (white in color, old ones are yellow).
