what are the cost on those tranny?

 

I think they are around $15,000

 

I think I heard, $14,000 for the tranny, $1,200 for the bell housing and $1000 for the links..

 

I heard they're alot more then that!

 

I heard that to have a tranny, back up unit and misc parts and special gearing ends up being around the 60k range

20K from what I understand. Supposodly there are only five out there. Kenny has two, Gary has one, Brian from Prodrag and some guy in England supposodly has the fifth.

to get the tranny in the car all setup and ready to go your looking at around 20,000, but its well worth it

 

damm that **** is a grip. but the xtrac is the only way to go any pictures on the tranny for the hondas

 

theres also the g force red brick.. haha
has anyone tried that one out yet??

the slipper clutch is also key to making that tranny work well.

and the shifter was also a custom piece which needed to be built... remember the xtrac was supposed to be air shifted.

 

I talked with Mike from g-force they make one, but no one has ever tested one, I can probabley see if I can get a deal on a g-force if you want one for FWD honda to test and give them feedback.

These guys are really cool. Might not be the smartest when it comes to actual "Drag Racing", but, they know their transmissions, alot of engineering stuff and They can help you work with your Datalogging
