IMO, unless you've driven both, answering this question is a waste. Your answers are based purely on conjecture.

I'm afraid so. I didn't read all of them, but has anyone in there actually had a chance to put both of these cars through the paces before making a judgment? Sorry, I still think that without doing that a response is only based on looks/personal bias/speculation. Not that I wouldn't mind the chance to get to a point where I could make an educated assessment . If you want me to play along, I will. Give me an NSX-R.

i'll choose the nsx-r for its pure rarity how many of those have you seen in real life, real ones not a mock up of the real thing?

but ill tell you i looked at both of these two pics for atleast ten mins to decide this not an easy choice by no means, still not sure i made the right choice

Skyline, hands down. How many 900 HP NSXs are there? None.

I've never seen a skyline and I have seen an NSX and the R was derived from the NSX(obviously), so you don't have a valid arguement.

NSX just seems so much more exotic, so i would pick it, but if given the chance I would take either

R34 is overweight and not really impressive stock. It even has engine overheating problems.

If you talk about modified ones, then there would be no valid argument.

Nsx-r is nice, but I like the skyline more. But didn't someone already make a post just like this, with like the same name?

Here are a few pics of the skyline.

I sure wish I had one of those!

I voted for the GTR but felt bad because i'm biased (I drive an R33 GT-R). Was this a comparison between the R34 GT-R and NSX-R or the GT-R in general? The NSX-R is indeed a car in a great class of cars, unfortunately the Skyline GT-R is in a class of it's own

i would go for the GTR... its just plain sexy and it has the sweet stock HUD. i'm still laughing though that VTEC 101 posted the skyline from 2 fast 2 furious (gotta love the APC sticker). i would like either of them though, both would be faster than my civic

ps... that is a big turbo in that orange skyline, dang

Though I can appreciate the performance and design engineering of the Skyline (whatever GT-R you choose), "sexy" is not a word I would even remotely call it. Unless it was compared to another car of similar box form and square shape. The Skyline is akin to placing Pam Anderson's body in a nun's outfit or a mumu(sp?) while wearing a dead president's mask. Whereas the NSX, I think, shows at least a modicum of sex appeal and artistry in the curve and shape of the body.

Id just like to add, i saw a champeign old style Skyline on the freeway, and holy flying ***** batman. that thing sounded so crazy when it passed me. it was all modded out too, way crazy. i think id go with the skyline. as much of a honda fan as i am, id rather have the sky.

There is no doubt in my mind that both cars are absolutely incredable...But I would have to say that I prefer the NSX-R.

I'm not sure about the rules on this thread but the orginal sky vs X thread was based on stock vs stock. People keep comparing modified Skyline to a stock R. Thats like comparing the JGTC NSX vs a stock skyline.

or

Geee, i wonder which one is better
