Default Leaking clutch fitting

I just changed my master and slave clutch cylinder today, and as I took it out for a drive, I noticed that if I held the clutch pedal to the floor long enough it wouldn't come back up and I would have to pull it back up. After being pulled back up it was normal again. If I clutched in and out fairly quickly that wouldn't happen as well.

I felt around the fittings for the two cylinders and found that they were leaking, so I guess this is the source of my problem. What can I use to stop the leaking? Keep in mind I'm not using the stock clutch hoses, but rather a SS braided line with fittings.

Thanks!

Did you try tightening your lines? When you installed them, were you able to install the line fittings with your fingers or did you have to use a wrench? If you didn't get them started withyour fingers you could have crossthreaded them. Were the lines installed a while ago or with your master and slave? Honda parts?

I put them in by hand first and then tightened the fittings with a wrench. I'm fairly confident I didnt' cross thread them. I haven't tried tightening the lines again yet, but I tightened them pretty tight as it is. The line was installed a couple of months ago during my auto manual swap. And yep I used Honda parts for the cylinders.

You will need new fittings on your hose- they need to be double flared to work properly.
