4th Gen short shifter
As I am just getting back in to my Honda ownership with my '92 Accord EX Coupe with the 5 speed, I was wondering what options are out there for aftermarket shifters to help firm up shifts and shorten throws. I would like something that fits the stock location without any problems, if that is possible. Also, how difficult is the installation?
Thanks for the input.

well there are adapters out on the market for our cars like nuespeed which ive had. its ok but i didnt like it because it felt like ****. so i got a 4bidden true shortshifter. it a really nice shifter is really for the 92-96 prelude but it fits our cars. you can check them out at http://www.4biddenmotorsports.com
Thanks for the lead on the Forbiddenmotorsports.com website. I have checked it out and the testimonies on the product and it sounds like a great choice and I plan on going that route.
I do have another question: How hard is the center console around the shifter to take apart? Anyone have a quick run down on instructions on how to do that?
Thanks.

If it's anything like the 5th gen installation. Then all that's involves is removing the dash peice under the steering wheel, the glove box, and the center console then take out the bolts that hold the shifter assembly to the car. The rest is pretty self explanitory.
