getting my car sprayed again in another month or so...heres my last two paint jobs (both were under $500, i did do most of the bodywork/sanding myself)

i like the color scheme of the second one

 

if u switched up that front bumper on that first pic with something less wild, it would look wayyy better.

maybe because it looks good?

and so do the other 2 cars in this thread so far!! Shows that if you're brave enough to try bodywork yourself you can come up with something nice and save money! Cant go wrong there

I knew someone who works at a body shop so he helped me out and he did it on the side

Thanks gotta remember that was like 5 years ago lol, Racing Hart C2's were the ish back then, the car was a boosted d16 back then too

ill wait for that... since your in the bay and i need a cheap place to paint my car

 

i think tho you cant really see the quality of the paint unless your in person. the pics sometimes make the cars look better or they got really good deals on there paint jobs. maaco sucks for sure tho!

I def agree, the orange paintjob that i first had was very close to show quality, the car was sprayed in a local bodyshops booth after hours by one of the best painters around...no orange peel, runs etc...The second (red) paint job was done by a friend in his garage and looks great from a distance but up close has many inperfections.

 

all the cars in here look good

i liked the sol orange

 

the white hatch is hot

painted this almost 2-3 years ago, i got it for $675.

i sold her about 1-2 years ago.
